I come from a family of entrepreneurs and teachers. My father started an ad agency shortly after college and my mother was a career high school teacher. My DNA supports my desire to operate small businesses and a passion for teaching and instructing. Search Fund Playbook is a direct intersection of these desires.\nI spent my formative years serving in the military on a nuclear submarine, got my MBA, and then spent 5 years working in the distressed private equity space. These experiences shaped my desire to launch multiple searches. Along the way, I have interfaced with dozens of searchers and there is always one consistent theme. \u201cNothing really teaches you how to search, nor provides you with all of the necessary tools.\u201d\nSo, I founded Search Fund Playbook to close the knowledge gap on searching.
